This event: A forum talk and breakout session on Human Rights in Malaysia. Specifically on minority groups such as:

1)LGBTIQ

2)Refugees

3)Migrant workers 

4)People with rare diseases

The forum hopes to educate and raise awareness to the public and respective minority groups about legal rights, breaking general misconceptions and negative stereotypes, and to truly see that these people are just as human as you and me.

RACHEL SUET 

Motivational speaker and author Rachel Siew Suet Li, 28, graduated with a Law degree from the University of Hertfordshire in 2011 and is currently a Community Advocate at the Make It Right Movement, the CSR-arm of Brickfields Asia College. As an adult living with Morquio A Syndrome, she runs the Rachel Siew Suet Li Trust Fund (RSTF) to raise funds for her lifetime Enzyme Replacement Therapy (ERT) treatment.
Rachel regularly speaks at various events and conferences, and has collaborated with many NGOs and established companies to hold fundraisers and educate the public on this rare condition. Her book, Little Book, BIG Secrets, was published in 2017 and illustrates the challenges she faces daily as an individual living with Morquio A Syndrome and her desire to inspire, motivate and empower others.

9.00 am~Registration.

9.15 am~ Introduction.

9.30 am~ Forum- Each speaker is given 10 to 12 minutes to give an overview of their issue with  a focus on women's issues.

​

10.15 am~Four moderator breakout sessions and Q&A. 

 

11.00 am~Plenary session- summarization of issues raised and further clarification.

 

11.30 am~ Launching of QR code and closing by Mr. Raja Singham- Managing Director of BAC Education Group.

 

12.00 pm~ Close and refreshments.
